Can anyone explain Normal Forms in short?

Correct me if wrong!
1NF = All attributes need to have atomic data.
2NF = Relation should be in 1NF, but attributes should be transitively or otherwise dependent on the primary key.
3NF = Should be in 2NF, but all the transitive dependencies are to be removed but some partial dependencies can exist among attributes.
BCNF = Should be in 3NF, but there can be no sort of dependency, be it transitive or partial.
